UDAAN: A Migrant Labour Revitalisation Program

On November 19, 2024, Telangana Social Impact Group (T-SIG) convened a State-level Convergence meeting in Ranga Reddy district, bringing together 7 Government departments along with Aide Et Action (NGO) to improve the lives of brick kiln migrant labourers.

As part of the UDAAN Migrant Labour Revitalisation Programme, this CSR initiative has already invested INR 1.8 Crores (USD 220,000) between 2022-2024, impacting over 18,000 individuals. The meeting emphasized vital welfare schemes—including vaccination, safe migration initiatives, and early childcare services—while prioritizing education for migrant children in their mother tongue.

Senior representatives from various government departments and corporates expressed their commitment to continuing to improve the living conditions of this community.
