
Overview
T-SIG is a platform to lead the CSR collaborations in the state of Telangana along with social impact organizations is to build an inclusive ecosystem. Our effort is to create a multiplier effect of encouraging best CSR practices via collaborations, data, research and continuous learning. The strategy to achieve this is to leverage public data from across the stakeholders combined with frequent one-on-one and group engagements with the industry, government and implementing partners. We work with govt bodies, private companies, and non-profit organizations to mobilize resources for the state's welfare.

Success Stories

Beautification of Durgam Cheruvu
The Raheja IT Company, in partnership with GHMC, has taken up cleaning up of Durgam Cheruvu near InOrbit mall at a cost of Rs 50.80 lakh as part of its CSR outreach. This project is part of a larger project to install a cycling track and construct a children’s play area around the lake and, create an artificial pond within the lake area for immersion of Ganesh idols.

Charminar Pedestrianisation
NTPC, in partnership with the GHMC, has taken up development and beautification works at Charminar, which includes providing battery-operated vehicles for visitors, bollards to prevent traffic, Swachh Auto Tippers (SAT) for carting garbage, mechanical sweeping vehicles and litter picking machines, decorative and halogen lighting of four arches, construction of public utilities, toilets and drinking water ATM kiosks.

Community Based Low Vision Rehabilitation in Urban Slums
Microsoft partnered with Hyderabad Eye Institute to run a program that provided vision screening for communities and children in government schools. A total of 800 persons were examined for eye problems by Vision Technicians, of which 120 were diagnosed to have treatable conditions such as cataract and referred further to LV Prasad Eye Institute for free medical care.
