It’s painful to listen to Child Sexual Abuse stories, but we must take responsibility to stop it. Officers like Rema Rajeshwari, IPS, courageously rescue children and bring perpetrators to justice. Like the way she rescued 12 children in Nalgonda [who were orphans / semi-orphans (with 1 parent)- ages 6 to 12] in 2014 and how her Police team and she ensured that the perpetrator got life imprisonment in 2021.
A parent’s courage to speak out led to a 20-year imprisonment for the culprit, and now in 2024, his 6-year-old daughter is a happy kid, healed after the trauma.
