At Telangana-Social Impact Group (T-SIG), the CSR wing of the Telangana Government, we learnt of an urgent need for a medicine for SMA (Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type 1) for an 8-month-old girl, Vriddhi. The cost? A staggering INR 8 crores / USD 1 million+.
When we reached out to the renowned philanthropist and actor, Mr. Sonu Sood, we knew he was the right person to help. True to his character, he responded with a resolute, “I’ll create the video and send it across.” Within just 24 hours, the video was in our hands in February 2025.
