Telangana-Social Impact Group connected the Belgian based Colruyt Group with Woxsen University for the annual Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) event in Woxsen University in Hyderabad on October 13, 2023.
The event was a pioneering effort by Woxsen to bring leading educational institutions together to create a platform to collaborate on the issue of sustainability and HEI (Higher Education Institutions) role in it.
The institutes vied for the Woxsen University Ripple Effect Award which saw BVRIT and ISHWA Foundation win it. The awards (INR 3 lakhs / USD 3600 sponsored by Colyrut) were given to the winners for the work they are doing to serve the underprivileged.
The event was also graced by Dr Rajat Kumar, IAS, Special Chief Secretary, Irrigation & CAD and Mrs V Karuna, IAS, Secretary Department of Education.
