On 25th March, 2022, Indian Oil Corporation Ltd., formally handed over COVID medical supplies to Bhadradri Kothagudem’s District Collector, Mr. Anudeep Durishetty, IAS and District Medical & Health Officer, Mr. Dayanand. This was done through IOCL’s Senior Manager, Mr. Narsimhulu.
IOCL made a generous donation of PPE Kits, thermal scanners, pulse oximeters and 15,000 medicines which supported patients in need, especially in poor tribal communities of the 3 Aspirational districts in Telangana. Lakhs of patients, including children who were served by the government owned primary health infrastructure were helped. The project was also a support system to the medical and para-medical staff of the Primary Help Centres (PHCs) as it ensured that the first line of responders were protected from infectious diseases.
