T-SIG in collaboration with OPPO Research and Development India announced the launch of Children Learning Centres at the OPPO office in Hyderabad on December 4, 2023. These centres set to be established in Sangareddy district in Telangana in 2023-24, will provide quality education for 850 children aged 1 to 14 who come from families of migrant workers in brick kilns. OPPO R&D India will support this initiative to the tune of INR 38 lakhs under its CSR program.
Mr. Jayesh Ranjan, IAS, Principal Secretary Industries and Commerce, IT, Electronics and Communications and Mr. Tasleem Arif, Managing Director of OPPO R&D India were present at the launch announcement.
During the event, children from migrant families received essential educational kits, signifying the start of this program. Aide Et Action is the implementation partner for this project.
