Healthcare in Rasoolpura Slum, Hyderabad

The Telangana Social Impact Group (T-SIG), the CSR wing of the Telangana Government, facilitated a sponsorship from Caspian Foundation. This led to providing two months of healthcare assistance to the Kriya Sangh Society (KSS), an NGO operating a charitable health center in the slums of Rasoolpura, Hyderabad.

Serving a community of over 130,000, KSS treats more than 2,500 patients monthly with essential medical services in various specialties for a nominal consultation fee of just INR 20 (under $ 0.5).

The center operates on a modest monthly budget of INR 100,000 ($1,220) and offers crucial diagnostic services at a fraction of the cost found elsewhere.

Thanks to Team Caspian for their support of this initiative, founded by Mr. Shaik Nayeem in 2010.
