In the first Focused Group Discussion, Haritha Haram was taken up as one of the priority project and was presented to the CSR representatives of the companies participated by Sri V. Krishna, OSD MA&UD/AC, GHMC, Government of Telangana. As part of the Haritha haram, T-SIG has organized a Mega Plantation drive on 31st August and planted about 5,000 saplings throughout 6 locations in the IT corridors of Hyderabad. The event witnessed a footfall of around 800 volunteers from Government departments , 12 Public & Private Sectors companies and Academic Institutions making the drive a big success.
The Departments which were involved are Departments are IT E&C, I&C which supported with all the permissions from Police, Gachibowli stadium, TALIM, University of Hyderabad and media coverage, GHMC supported with supplying saplings, plantation sites and taking care of maintenance and Smt. Priyanka Varghese, OSD CMO had supported with corporate participation. Phoenix company had also collaborated with T-Social Impact Group as a Logistics Partner.
