T-SIG/Telangana Social Impact Group (CSR Wing, Telangana Government) brought together Bosch Global Software Technologies/BGSW and Hyderabad District Collector’s Administration (Mr. Anudeep Durishetty, IAS) for a PWD/People with Disability project.
In the past, Bhavitha Centres were established by the Government to support children with disabilities through educational resources, infrastructure and therapeutic services. These centres aim to create an inclusive and supportive environment for the holistic development of children with special needs.
In a CSR project that will span 2024-2026 Bosch Global Software Technologies/BGSW will support 18 Bhavitha centres (of 21) in Hyderabad through:
1. Construction of accessible facilities – washrooms, ramps and railings
2. Renovation of buildings
3. Supply of Teaching Learning Material/TLM
4. Conducting Awareness Workshops
The renovated Nampally Bhavitha centre in Hyderabad was inaugurated on July 22, 2024 by Mr Anudeep Durishetty, IAS District Collector Hyderabad, Mr Amjad Khan, Centre Head & VP, Bosch Global Software Technologies Hyderabad, and Ms Shilpa Deodhar, Head CSR, Bosch.
To make the space even more vibrant, Bosch employees came together to paint colourful murals for the children, adding a personal touch to the centre.
