On September 30, 2024, the Telangana Social Impact Group (T-SIG), the CSR wing of the Telangana Government, was hosted by the Hyderabad Nehru Zoological Park, which is among the Top 5 Zoos in India. Spanning 380+ acres, the zoo, operational since 1963, is home to over 2,200 animals across 194 species, including the Indian rhino, Asiatic lion, and Bengal tiger. Visitors can enjoy unique features such as a visit to the Nocturnal Animal House and Dinosaur Park. The Zoo Corps program also offers students a chance to learn about wildlife and earn a certification as volunteer guides.
