On September 22, 2024, the Signathon’ 24 event in Hyderabad marked the eve of International Day for Sign Language with the presence of Ms. Archana Suresh, Director of T-SIG Telangana Social Impact Group.
Organized by Ashray Akruti, this event brought together 1,200 participants from schools and corporates at Gachibowli Stadium, to promote inclusivity for individuals with hearing disabilities. Attendees witnessed a beautiful rendition of the National Anthem in Sign Language by local school students, the launch of a Sign Language booklet, and inspiring dance performances by hearing-impaired students
