Lake Adoption

For many years the GHMC and HMDA Departments of the Government of Telangana has been focusing on the restoration, beautification, and maintenance of lakes in and around the city of Hyderabad. This was initiated to plan for effective waste management and to enhance the biodiversity in and around the lakes with the ultimate goal of sustainable development of the city. To encourage corporates to come forward and be a part of these initiatives, one of the spotlight projects adopted by T-SIG has been the “Lake Adoption” project.
