Agriculture is the main occupation of the majority of population in Medak District. There is a need to increase in agricultural productivity and profitability to keep pace with demand, and ensure long-term sustainability of production.

Improved Livelihoods and Productivity Enhancement of Farming Community Goal is a program initiated by S M Sehgal Foundation for the benefit of approximately 1000 male and female farmers from the selected villages of Medak district, Telangana.
