Firstleap is a rigorous training program for women from urban low-income communities. Firstleap will cater to 500 women through 3-month-long cohorts of training spread across 12 months. In each cohort, a total of 120 hours of training will be conducted through a series of 40 sessions spread across the three focus areas (Skill, Mindset and Exposure). The program empowers women holistically with functional life skills and values that make them job ready. During the program women get awareness about and learn from various industries that can absorb them in their labor force. Post program completion, women are provided with employment opportunities to take their very first step towards becoming an empowered woman contributing to the Indian economy.
